Accounting Manager

Our client is a leading multinational strategic advisory firm. They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Manager to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, finance, and accounting reporting, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Familiarity with NetSuite and collaboration with shared service centers or outsourced accounting partners is advantageous.

·      Experience in SME corporations is highly preferred.

·      Hands-on financial accounting experience with collaboration in shared service centers (SSC).

·      Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

·      Responsible for finance/accounting reporting (weekly, monthly, annually), including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, GL, and taxation

·      Perform various financial/management reports and financial analysis

·      Coordinate with local tax authorities on accounting enquires, GST, and corporate income tax matters

·      Process bi-weekly supplier payments, including invoice verification and vendor management

·      Liaise with internal/external stakeholders, including SSC, auditors, tax consultants, business teams, bankers, and authorities

·      Assist with implementation and migration to new accounting and finance systems

·      Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency in Singapore finance operations

Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or Accounting

·      Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including 2-3 years managing full-cycle accounting independently

·      Prior experience in multinational companies is preferred, with exposure to SME corporations.

·       Industry experience in a professional or client servicing environment e.g. legal, PR agency, management consulting would be beneficial.

·      Familiarity working with outsourced accounting firms or shared service centers is a plus.

·      Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially in advanced Excel; knowledge of NetSuite is a plus

·      Proactive and independent, with strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills

·      Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in daily tasks.

·      Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese
