About the Role

We're looking for a talented System Administrator to support the maintenance of our Information Technology Systems for enhancing productivity and collaboration among offices across Asia Pacific. You will gain experience in working across a variety of platforms and applications, including Microsoft 365, Linux, SaaS, and proprietary applications. Your role will encompass both back-end system administration and front-end user support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and support of the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and other related applications
• Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features and updates. Proactively identify opportunities for productivity enhancements and collaboration improvements.
• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions to enhance user proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Install, set up, and maintain Linux servers and systems, ensuring high availability and performance to minimize downtime and support business continuity.
• Apply patches, upgrades, and security updates promptly to keep systems up to date, reducing vulnerabilities and maintaining compliance.
• Administer WordPress CMS platforms, including plug-in updates and security patches to appropriate version ensuring platform stability.
• Manage system backups, document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Monitor system performance, usage, and security. Generate regular reports on system health, usage metrics, and compliance status.
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings to ensure secure access and data privacy.
• Automate repetitive tasks and optimize system performance using scripting tools.
• Collaborating with users and stakeholders to understand project requirements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, and OneDrive.
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and related identity management concepts.
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems, such as CentOS, Rocky Linux, or Ubuntu.
• Experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft and/or Linux OS environments along with experience in network transport protocols and Wide Area Networking preferred.
• Expertise in scripting languages for automation and management tasks, such as PowerShell for Microsoft systems and Bash for Linux systems.
• Knowledge in programming languages like PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud operation
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred)
