Key Duties:

• Sales Optimization: Responsible for monitoring sales performance and generating innovative ideas to meet sales objectives and boost category profitability.
• Category Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies to refine product selection, pricing structures, and promotional activities aimed at achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Market Research: Perform comprehensive market analysis to uncover trends, understand customer needs, and assess the competitive environment.
• Supplier Relations: Establish and nurture strong partnerships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms to benefit the business.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure category strategies are aligned with broader business objectives.
• Performance Reporting: Generate regular reports detailing category performance, market dynamics, and business development efforts.
• Project Leadership: Contribute expertise to various project teams to support the company's integrated growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in category management, business development, or a comparable role within the FMCG sector.
• Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Results-oriented with a proactive approach.
• Candidates with significant experience and a proven track record may be considered for the Category Manager role.
• Experience in in-store catering development and/or department store operations is a plus.
