Key Responsibilities
(1) Provide support in all media and press matters related to the 15th National Games (NG), the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities (NGD), and the 9th National Special Olympic Games (NSOG) to be held in Hong Kong, including the planning and setting up of media centres;
(2) Assist in monitoring media reports related to the 15th NG, the 12th NGD, and the 9th NSOG, and in handling media enquiries and requests;
(3) Assist in planning of media arrangements, providing on-site support for and performing marshalling duties at events related to the 15th NG, the 12th NGD, and the 9th NSOG, including the organisation of press conferences, press interviews, and media stand-ups;
(4) Assist in preparation of press releases and relevant press materials and publications;
(5) Assist in drafting content, updating information, and managing the thematic website and social media platforms of the 15th NG, 12th NGD, and 9th NSOG; and
(6) Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor(s).
Requirements
(1) A bachelor degree from a Hong Kong university or equivalent, preferably in Creative Media, Digital Media, Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Translation or related discipline;
(2) At least five (5) years of post-degree full-time work experience in corporate communications, public relations, media, advertising, digital or social media marketing, including social media management and content creation. Work experience in sports event management and public relations for sports events is an advantage.
(3) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 (Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent;
(4) Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin); and (5) Able to work in irregular hours
