Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for regional IT infrastructure that supports business goals and aligns with global strategies. Own and promote awareness of the infrastructure strategic roadmap
• Support the implementation of global services, ensuring local requirements are included and comply with global policies and guidelines
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement while overseeing ongoing implementation of multiple, large, overlapping infrastructure initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement
• Act as a trusted advisor to build relationships with key stakeholders by understanding business needs and delivering cost-effective IT services
• Evaluate the business value of Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) using metrics such as KPIs and OKRs. Identify opportunities for system modernization, integration, automation and rationalization
• Improve IT resilience through strategies enhancing reliability and disaster recovery readiness. Implement best practices for infrastructure lifecycle management
• Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners, overseeing sourcing strategies and collaborating with global teams to optimize negotiations
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with laws, regulations and industry standards while overseeing risk management processes to mitigate risks
• Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Management, 5+ years in IT management positions, preferably in infrastructure or cybersecurity management
  with a proven record in managing IT teams and extensive experience in managing IT infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with MS-SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database, Windows Server, Linux Server, and major public clouds (e.g., AWS, Azure, Aliyun etc.)
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare, Docker, K8S) and major network solutions (e.g., Cisco, Aubra, Ruckus, Huawei etc.)
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code operational models
• Management qualifications such as ITIL, CISM, PMP, and/or Prince2
• Technical certifications in AWS and/or Azure, CCNA/CCNP equivalent
• Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in performance metrics
• Project management skills, including experience with agile methodologies
• Customer-focused mindset, prioritizing business and customer satisfaction
• Financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and optimize costs
• Business fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
