Our projects span best-in-class customised E-Commerce & CMS platforms. We work with various PHP frameworks - most commonly CraftCMS, Craft Commerce & Laravel, and Shopify Plus & Craft Commerce.We regularly work with Hong Kong-based clients looking to improve their websites or e-commerce stores. Or are looking to re-platform and engage in a large-scale project with us.

Strategy sits at the heart of everything we do and is the glue that binds our process - from design to development. To sum up the role simply - The primary objective of a Strategist is to seek out all opportunities to improve the work that we do with our clients. 

• People:
• Culture: Drive, refine and elevate our culture here at Digital Butter. Do everything you can to protect our values and ensure they are in everything we do. 
• Client leadership: Manage client relationships, guiding them through their projects & digging deeper to find opportunities for Butter to impact their business. 

• Process: 
• Guardianship: Agencies are two things (i) people and (ii) process - be one of the guardians of our process and protect this at all times. 
• Optimisation: Through managing all aspects of our project and retainer work - find better ways to deliver. Test different approaches, gather feedback, and refine how we run our business. 
• Delivery: A focus on delivering projects against allocated resources. Track, measure and optimise this delivery (using our tools and data) at every stage. Delivery is one of the most critical outputs of this role.

• Chunky & Challenging: As we grow, we take on projects out of our comfort zone and challenge ourselves. It’s key to continue to drive this and be a leader within the agency who works to evolve our product via our expertise, skills and people.

• Accustomed and experienced in the fast pace of agencies - we work on 3-5 projects and support 25+ clients at any given time.
• You are an assertive communicator - who enjoys making the complex simple.
• You've worked in an Account Management or Project Management function previously. 
• Have collaborated with strategy and development teams both in-office and remote.
• Obsessed with e-commerce and how the latest design & technology shapes consumer engagement.
• Interest in new design tools, methods and approaches - especially design tools like Figma or new e-commerce platforms.
• Deep, hands-on expertise with:
• Selling web design & development 
• Being in a small sales team selling to mid-market and below clients 
• Accustomed to refining your own sales process to maximise opportunities
