Senior Network Manager - AVP - Network Infrastructure - IT - 12 month Contract

Job Summary:

The Network Infrastructure department comprises of engineering, operations and project delivery functions. They are responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of HKEX network infrastructure.

Job Duties:

As Senior Network Manager, the incumbent will lead and manage a number network projects for mission-critical network infrastructures. The candidate will need to exercise strong design and problem solving skills to delivery the project results in high standards in quality and timeliness.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee network projects and command problem investigations and resolutions for critical network infrastructures.
• Mange the procurement process for the projects including the collection of network requirements, preparation of documents for tendering, proposal evaluation, contract, compliances and approval.
• Effectively manage budgets for projects and new initiatives as well as expenditure control.
• Effectively identify, assess and manage IT risks of network projects.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Drive enhancement in documentation for the project deliverables, like IT assets, configurations, network diagrams, procedures and expectations.
• Keep the teams abreast of emerging network technologies and best practices. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements in network infrastructure and operations.

Requirement:

• University degree in IT or related subject.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT network projects related support with at least 5 years at management/supervisory level.
• In-depth knowledge of network technologies, including ACI, VxLAN, SDWAN, Cloud networking, IP multicast and network security technologies.
• Proven experience in mission critical network projects, including designing, testing, upgrading and migrating networks as well as experience in automating network operation.
• Meticulous attention to details and problem solving skills.
• Strong analytical, presentation, communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in sizable organizations.
• Self-starter, able to work independently, highly motivated with a strong delivery focus.
