We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Director for our Institutional Business division to lead the development and execution of cutting-edge financial products and services. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of the prime brokerage landscape, coupled with a strong ability to innovate and deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Responsibility:
Develop and execute product strategies for institutional sales and prime brokerage services
Market research on the demands of institutional clients, including Prime Brokerage, private equity funds, external asset managers (EAMs), large asset management firms, and high-frequency trading firms, etc. Conduct competitor and industry capability research to develop product strategies for institutional business, leading the product development team to execute key projects
Collaborate closely with the institutional business marketing teams at overseas branches. Regularly participate in client pitches with the business team to identify client needs and business requirements, and design product solutions accordingly
Coordinate resources across multiple internal teams to establish project priorities and timelines, ensuring accountability for the final deliverables
Manage the institutional business(To-B) product team, enhancing team expertise, nurturing talent development, and designing collaborative processes across multiple teams
Requirements
10+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on institutional sales or prime brokerage
Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies
Strong understanding of market dynamics and client needs in the institutional space
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects
Knowledge of brokerage solutions tailored for the aforementioned institutional clients, including critical modules such as accounts, trading, risk management, and clearing and settlement
Fluent in English and Mandarin/Cantonese
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders
Able to work in our office in Shenzhen or Hong Kong
