General Function

The Wolverine supply chain planning team optimizes product planning and inventory across global brands and global factories.


About the Role

The analyst supports the global supply chain planning and sourcing teams with high impact reporting dashboards and data visualization to drive improved supply chain planning, concept to marketing and factory planning. He/she works in a high impact, high visibility cross functional capability with product development, sourcing, supply planning and operations to elevate the analytical capability of the organization through new inventory management frameworks, tools and reporting.


The Planning Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing data to optimize business operations and decision-making. This position involves working closely with various departments to gather insights, create reports, and recommend actionable plans. The Planning Analyst ensures that organizational plans are well-structured, data-driven, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.


Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive reports and engaging presentations.
  • Lead the planning master data management.
  • Conduct analysis to identify risks and opportunities, provide recommendations for mitigation and improvement.
  • Develop simulation models to analyze and predict various business scenarios, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Develops and refines processes, and establishes KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure performance across brands and geographies.
  • Evaluate and recommend process improvements.


Required Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in reporting/analytics/visualization tools.
  • Collaborative team player with demonstrated integrity.
  • Experience working in a fashion/branded environment is preferred.


Preferred background

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Experience in working in a fashion/branded environment is preferred.
