The Department
Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.

 

The Job

YOU WILL

  • Administer the daily Members Services and Relations functions by: 
  • Maintaining the high service standards, ensuring attainment of guests’ satisfaction and other KPIs. 
  • Handling the general Members Services and Relations functions including greeting of Members and guests, dealing with feedback, enquiries, incidents, accidents, and operational irregularities. 
  • Handling the Concierge functions that include:
  • Sales of Racing guest badges, Racing programmes books and coupons
  • Distribution of Member materials such as Racing pack 
  • Dealing with Inbound phone calls 
  • Addressing in person enquires 
  • Dealing with Activity Rooms bookings  
  • Holding for pick up items 
  • Dealing with Lost & Found properties  
  • Dealing with luggage or item storage  
  • Dealing with fax and photocopy correspondences for Members 
  • Coordinating with the Engineering team for repair and maintenance 
  • Handling newspaper and magazines arrangements 
  • Preparing event signage display 
  • Ensuring the Notice Board, Sub-committee Members’ Board, and poster information are up-to-dated 
  • Administer the resources and assets by: 
  • Maintaining the existing resources and assets in good working condition at all times. 
  • Requesting for equipment, furniture and fixtures as required while adher ing to the budget. 
  • Providing office and administrative support to the team in daily operations. 
  • Perform any other related duties as and when assigned by supervisor 

 

About You
You should have:

  • A university degree or higher diploma in Hospitality from a leading hospitality institution
  • A minimum of 1 year of working experience in hospitality operation
  • International hospitality experience is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in Cantonese and English
  • Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
