About the role
OrbusNeich Medical Company Limited is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Assistant (Medical Device-Cardiovascular) to join our team in Sha Tin District. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and testing of innovative cardiovascular medical devices.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the preparation, set-up, and operation of laboratory equipment and experiments
• Responsible for returned products investigation and analysis
• Conduct quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment
• Perform routine testing and analysis of medical device samples and prototypes
• Accurately record and document test results and observations
• Maintain a clean and organised laboratory environment
• Provide support to the research and development team as required

What we're looking for

• Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering or related disciplines
• A background in laboratory or technical services, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry
• Minimum 2 years of engineering or laboratory experience working in medical device company
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures
• Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• A keen interest in science and technology
• Occasional travel to PRC (Shenzhen) is required
