Requirements
- Have a Bachelor Degree (major in Arts related subject is an advantage), or equivalent;
- Have good command of written Chinese and English;
- be fluent in Cantonese, English and Putonghua;
- At least three (3) years of post-qualification full-time office work experience; have not less than ONE (1) year working experience in Government Performing Arts venue, have experience in supervising the frontline and clerical staff in venue operation and customer services is preferred;
- have proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Chinese word processing; knowledge of Photo Editing software (e.g. Photoshop) is preferred;
- Able to work shift and irregular hours within the period from 0900 to 2330 hours of any day, which include normal working days, Saturdays, and General Holiday
- be mature, helpful, pleasant, independent with good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills;
- be responsible and able to attend to details and maintain accuracy in handling data;
- be able to work independently in an organized manner under pressure and meet tight schedules;
- have good understanding on performing arts and administration work
Duties:
- To assist in handling booking matters of the venues including to screen booking applications,
- To vet and liaise with hirers on publicity and ticketing arrangements, to handle enquiries concerning booking matters;
- To assist in arranging the refund of hire charges, as well as to compile statistic returns and related information on hiring matters;
- To serve as programme subject officer in liaison with hirers on provision of house services,
technical support and other requirements;
- To coordinate operation meetings with hirers and venue technical staff; to prepare additional instructions to ensure the required manpower is deployed
- To perform the role of Duty Manager and to be responsible for the smooth running of all activities staged at the Venue;
- To enforce all regulations and house rules and ensure that they are being observed by venue users,
- To handle enquiries and requests from the public and hirers, to handle ad-hoc matters; and
to provide administrative and clerical support to office and perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.
