Position Overview:
We’re seeking a strategic Agency Sales Manager to deepen MiQ’s partnerships with global holding agencies in Hong Kong. This role is pivotal in positioning MiQ’s programmatic solutions as the go-to choice for agencies seeking data-driven, automated, and scalable advertising strategies. You’ll collaborate with agency trading desks, planners, and C-suite stakeholders to unlock revenue growth while championing MiQ’s unique value in the programmatic landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Programmatic Revenue Growth
- Drive adoption of MiQ’s programmatic solutions across assigned holding agencies, focusing on GroupM, Publicis, Omnicom, Dentsu, Havas and so on.
- Craft tailored proposals that align with agency/client KPIs, leveraging MiQ’s strengths in data integration, audience targeting, and cross-channel measurement.
- Exceed quarterly targets by expanding existing accounts and identifying new opportunities in Hong Kong’s competitive market.
Agency Partnership Development
- Build trusted relationships with senior agency leaders (Heads of Programmatic, Trading Desks, Media Directors) to position MiQ as a strategic partner.
- Educate stakeholders on MiQ’s proprietary technology, including our self-serve platform, AI-driven optimization, and privacy-compliant data solutions.
Market Leadership & Insights
- Serve as a programmatic expert, sharing trends (e.g., CTV, cookieless solutions) and insights to differentiate MiQ in agency conversations.
- Partner with MiQ’s analytics team to deliver post-campaign insights that prove ROI and fuel long-term agency loyalty.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with MiQ’s trading, product, and client success teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and innovation.
- Advocate agencies need internally to shape product roadmaps and market-specific strategies.
Brand Ambassadorship
- Represent MiQ at industry events, panels, and agency workshops to amplify our leadership in programmatic advertising.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5+ years in programmatic advertising sales or agency account management, with a focus on holding companies (GroupM, Publicis, etc.) in Hong Kong/APAC.
- Proven success selling programmatic solutions (DSPs, PMPs, CTV) and managing multi-million-dollar agency accounts.
- Deep knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, including ad tech (DSPs/SSPs), data partnerships, and attribution modeling.
- Skills:
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to articulate complex programmatic concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in analyzing campaign performance metrics and translating them into compelling narratives.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Google Ads, DV360, Trade Desk Edge Academy, or IAB certifications.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Language:
- Fluency in English required; Cantonese or Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
