Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Technical Manager with expertise in facilities management to join our team on behalf of one of our esteemed clients. The Technical Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of all technical systems within the organization, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of all facilities services systems including TV, ELV, CCTV, PA system.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime of all technical systems
  • Manage a team of technical staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the highest level of performance and productivity
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and optimal resource allocation
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technical needs and provide effective solutions
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the technical operations of the organization


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer, Facilities Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in facilities management and technical operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards for technical systems and facilities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills


Day-to-day

  • Conduct regular inspections of technical systems and facilities to ensure proper functioning
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair projects
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
  • Lead meetings with the technical team to address any issues, provide updates, and set goals
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions for enhanced technical operations
