Our client, a global buy side institution, is actively seeking a Data Analyst to join their expanding team. You will collaborate closely with a global team comprising data engineers, data scientists, and content experts across key geographic locations. Your primary focus will involve working in tandem with Portfolio Managers and Analysts to anticipate their requirements and deliver proactive solutions. This role is tailored for individuals who possess curiosity, a fervor for technology and data, and a drive to foster personal and team growth.

• The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in technical support, implementation, and/or engineering roles, complemented by a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
• Essential qualifications include proficiency in Python for data analysis and manipulation, as well as a strong command of SQL and relational databases.
• Ideally obtain good knowledge of AWS, Git, and Airflow. This knowledge will enable you to broaden your scope of responsibilities, encompassing tasks such as constructing, designing, and implementing data solutions utilizing Python and SQL, creating scripts to automate data processes, managing data solutions through AWS deployment, employing Git for version control, and orchestrating workflows with Airflow.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in financial data, specifically in time-series data and third-party data vendors, which proves beneficial for quantitative and fundamental analysis.
