Job Title: Global HR & Talent Manager

Reports To: Managing Director


Job Role:

As a senior member of the Next Sourcing management team you will lead, drive and deliver a consistent global HR strategy across all Next Sourcing overseas territories. Partnering with the Senior Management Team to ensure the business objectives are met and Next Sourcing has best practice in the areas of recruitment, performance management, learning and development, remuneration and benefits. You will champion innovation and always looking for opportunities to drive best practice and consistencies.


Key Responsibilities:

People Strategy

  • Working in partnership with the Senior Team to influence the HR Strategy to ensure it is aligned to deliver the key priorities for the Next Sourcing business.
  • Championing the delivery of the People Strategy into the management team, by developing a communication plan that ensures visibility, understanding and buy-in.
  • Through detailed knowledge of the sales offices and their challenges, help shape the People Strategies to ensure they deliver the business priorities
  • Facilitate and lead regular focus groups with the Senior Management team and employees to ensure the continual improvement of all HR strategies


Business Partnering

  • Developing strong working relationships with the General Managers across the Next Sourcing business to understand the environment they operate in and their day to day and personal challenges, offering regular coaching and challenging their decisions where appropriate
  • Dotted line management of the local HR managers
  • Supporting Senior Management to build high performing teams, ensuring development needs are identified and solutions are delivered
  • Work closely with Senior Team, providing expert advice and guidance on HR and Employment Law matters


Training and Development

  • Championing the design and delivery of HR and Training initiatives into the Next Sourcing business.
  • Design and delivery of a suite of training that empowers General Managers to take ownership of their operational HR responsibilities in each territory.
  • Strengthening existing skill sets and behaviours to support the continual growth of the Next Sourcing business.
  • Enable the senior team to identify, design and deliver management development training across the business by way of an Annual Training Plan


Recruitment

  • Responsible for the recruitment of expatriate employees across all locations
  • Overseeing the onboarding and induction of all new starters
  • Monitoring fixed term contracts and pro-actively seeking new candidates for replacement roles
  • Building a talent pool of potential candidates for our Product Manager vacancies
  • Use of LinkedIn to source talent
  • Manage relationship with recruitment agencies


Operational

  • Stay ahead of the game in terms of relevant driving and employment legislative changes an ensure the business is prepared for any changes
  • Identify and improve ways of working across the Global HR function
  • Work closely with IT to ensure in-house HRIS system is constantly improving employee experience
  • Managing the global employee benefits providers and enrolments, ensuring agreements and reviewed and renewed annually
  • Managing the annual salary review process in partnership with the Finance Director


Talent Management

  • Working with the Senior Team across all territories to identify and embed recruitment and talent management objectives into the Next Sourcing business.
  • Working with the Senior Management teams to continue to educate on new recruitment initiatives and to identifying talent management priorities
  • Developing and delivering effective tools and processes into the business that will support the delivery of the talent management strategies.
  • Working with Senior Management team to identify and develop future managers


Data Insights

  • Translating HR, Recruitment and L&D strategies into business results
  • Ensure robust measures are in place to measure return on investment, costs and progress against objectives
  • Interpret HR data and shares this with senior management in order to influence decisions or raise awareness of key issues
  • Hold quarterly HR data meetings with the Senior Management team with in order to identify key trends and patterns globally and regionally


Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Generalist HR experience of at least 12 years of increasing experience with varied experience across generalist HR, Benefits, C&B and Learning & Development
  • Ideally CIPD Qualified (Level 7) or equivalent
  • Significant experience in recruitment and able to identify effective recruitment strategies
  • Experience working within a global role with multiple teams and countries
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to persuade and influence at a senior level
  • Resilient and confident when dealing with a variety of different personalities
  • Adapt a collaborative approach to work with Senior Team to achieve objectives and to drive consistency
  • A creative thinker, especially around new and innovative training and development methods
  • Analytical thinking and a problem solver
  • A strong relationship builder at all levels
  • Self-motivated with loads of energy and drive
