Job Description

The role takes accountability to deliver cash/cost optimization and improve service to Edgewell customers.

Universal Accountabilities

  • Overseeing all demand planning activities

-Responsible to formulate and develop demand plan for Hong Kong.

-Handle monthly forecast alignment/S&OP process with Hong Kong commercial team.

  • Ownership of Supply Chain Planning for Hongkong

-Direct responsibility to manage all supply planning activities, managing the replenishment plans.

-Act as a bridge between SAO Planning – Hong Kong Commercial, identify supply capacity plans/ issues and resolutions.

-Handle S&OE meetings to review actual sales, demand and supply ensuring the 3 sync with latest requirements.

-Quarterly supply parameters review and update in system.

- Responsible for developing a firm Inventory plan for short- middle term and achieving Inventory goals by balancing production / supply with demand forecast. Monthly inventory reporting and review with root cause analysis. Act as focal point to minimize SLOBs.

- Co-pack planning and related activities ownership.

  • Support radical simplification in Supply Chain planning process to improve cost/cash/service
  • NPI/NPD process engagement, ownership of SC related activities
  • SC Related Projects involvement i.e. SAP, Promax, Manugistics (JDA), PBI etc
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ Demand/Supply planning experience at middle level.
  • Inventory management/optimisation experience
  • Working knowledge of all other Supply Chain streams i.e. W&D, Customer Service
  • Proven capabilities of Communication, Collaboration, Driven change, Project management, Interpersonal skill
  • Analytical and logical thinking is mandatory for data and root cause analysis to perform appropriate actions.
  • Having proactive and business-oriented attitude to be a problem solver.
  • IBP experience and consensus review management experience with senior business leadership.
  • SAP and related planning system experience is a plus

Working Relationships

Reports to Hong Kong Supply Chain Assistant Manager

SAO Operation: Supply planning, Customer Service, Manufacturing Service

EPC Hong Kong: all other functions including Commercial, Finance &Controllership and HR, CS and W&D.

Outside the Company: 3PL Service Provider, Suppliers

Job Tools/System knowledge required

Microsoft Office Applications, SAP, Manugistics (JDA)

Key KPIs (but not limited to)

  • Forecasting measures i.e. accuracy/bias
  • Supply planning (Service/Cash/Cost) i.e.: OTIF, Inventory value/DII/SLOB
  • Other measure as agreed with GC Supply Chain Manager

Work Environment

Hybrid working (2-3 days of on-site work)
