Research property including authenticity, bibliography, provenance and exhibition history;
Catalogue property for public and private sales;
Prepare property for appraisal (meetings to determine value, condition and marketability of property) and amend catalogue sheets after hilling sessions;
Maintain department library and research material;
Assist with catalogue layout and production;
Serve as primary liaison with vendor/ clients;
Assist with inquiries on potential property for sale;
Assist with gallery/viewing layout and setup;
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Degree holder in any disciplines with minimum 1-2 years’ relevant experience in Art/Luxury fields, gallery, museum or auction house as an advantage;
A good team player with solid interpersonal skill to deal with both internal parties and external partners;
Strong organizational skills and time management;
A team player with strong credibility and delegate to the job;
Excellent command in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese;
Proficiency in word processing including Chinese;
IANG/Fresh Graduates are also welcome;
Immediate availability is preferred.
