This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 24 months with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT Manager (HK-based) on applications and/or infrastructure for the implementation of the IT systems at Dongguan Logistics Park (HKIALP)
• Support the tendering process of the IT systems, including the preparation of tender specifications, proposals evaluation, and vendors (external contractors) selection
• Work closely with the Managers on IT systems implementation and planning
• Plan, direct and monitor the performance of the implementation team, including external contractors, according to project objectives and milestones to achieve timely and precise delivery
• Assist the HKIALP IT team in Dongguan to ensure smooth systems operations by providing instructions and expert advice to the supporting team

Requirements

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
• With a minimum of 6 years' relevant working experience, including at least 3 years' experience in project management and stakeholder engagement
• Proven systems (applications or infrastructure) development and support experience in large scale, mission critical systems
• Strong business sense, good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with business acumen and teamwork mindset
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese, Mandarin and English
• With a valid permit to travel to Dongguan
