A well-established company is seeking an Energy Engineer to provide consultancy services, assisting clients on their energy and emissions-reduction journeys. The Energy Engineer will be responsible for conducting energy assessments, co-designing and facilitating energy and emissions reduction strategies, and guiding customers towards achieving their energy and emissions targets. Additionally, the role involves continuous internal process improvement, identifying potential cross-sell opportunities, and offering in-house subject matter expertise.


Your new role

  • Undertake energy auditing and assessments to optimize energy-using systems.
  • Identify, calculate and report on savings opportunities to clients and prepare detailed business cases
  • Collaboratively build energy and emissions reduction strategies
  • Identify the customer's issues and needs, then challenge and introduce new ideas to help the customer realize their vision
  • Consults and facilitates the customer in all governance aspects of Enterprise Efficiency such as gaining securing budgets, decision making, roll-out plan whilst ensuring the client is accountable for achieving the outcomes.
  • Evaluate project risk & performance and communicate that risk to project team and leaders.
  • Manage contractors and provide technical expertise to support project management teams


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic/ Building Services/ Mechanical Engineering, Sustainability or Environmental Sciences, Energy, resource efficiency or related
  • 2-5 years of experience in energy consulting or corporate energy management.
  • Understanding and experience in energy data analysis is a plus, along with a deep understanding of the energy and emissions reduction industry.
  • Deliver consultancy and implementation projects to schedule and budget.
  • BMS and/or SCADA system configuration, and Software and programming experience are a plus.
  • Regional travel is required.


What you'll get in return

30k - 45k x 13 months + bonus + Business Travel allowance
