About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within The Man Wah Kitchen in Hong Kong, the Dim Sum No.4 is responsible to assist the Dim Sum No. 1 with the daily working requirements and the smooth running of the operation and displayed as mandated by the Executive Chinese Chef in order to acquire maximum customer satisfaction and profitability. Dim Sum No.4 reports to the Dim Sum No.1.

As Dim Sum No.4, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for mise-en-place preparation
• Maintain proper quantity of par stock for mis-en-place
• Keep the specific kitchen areas clean and hygienic
• Check refrigerators, utensils and kitchen equipment on cleanliness
• Adhere to all the standards of food handling, production, preparation, portioning and presentation
• Assist the senior chefs in preparation and production of all food items.

As Dim Sum No.4, we expect from you:

• 1 years relevant experience in Chinese Restaurant
• Self-motivated and responsible
• Independent and able to work under pressure
