**Job Opportunity: Python Quantitative Developer in Hong Kong**

**Role Overview:**

We are looking for a Python Quantitative Developer for our client based in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the research and production pipeline for a medium-frequency equity portfolio. This includes maintaining and improving production monitoring tools, as well as addressing production issues. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology, take ownership of their work, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Design, implement, and maintain the research and production pipeline, including data processing, model building, back-testing, and live monitoring toolkits.

- Optimize performance in both research and production settings.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative discipline.

- A minimum of 3 years of professional programming experience, preferably in a major tech company or a quantitative trading team.

- Advanced proficiency in Python and its ecosystem.

- Fast learner with a strong passion for technology and a desire to explore the latest advancements in the field.

- Experience in software architecture and engineering is a plus.

- Familiarity with distributed computing is a plus.

- Strong quantitative skills with knowledge of statistics and linear algebra is a plus.
