Main Duties

• Provide professional procurement services to achieve value-for-money purchases and effective project facilitation in accordance with purchasing policy and procedures
• Review specifications and propose recommendations as appropriate
• Perform sourcing by conducting market research or cost effective study on purchasing items
• Develop contracts on total cost evaluation and handle price negotiations
• Initiate and identify cost saving opportunities
• Develop and maintain effective communication, good relations and positive image with suppliers and internal customers

Requirements:

• Degree in business-related disciplines with professional training in purchasing or supply chain management preferable
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in sizeable corporate environment with exposure in purchasing items of wide varieties
• Good communication skill and proficiency in written and spoken English and Putonghua
• Customer oriented
• Enthusiastic in the procurement profession
• Self-motivated and able to work independently under time pressure
