About the role

Chinasoft International Technology Service (Hong Kong) Limited' is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team in Kowloon. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions that drive the success of our business. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects.

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop scalable and secure cloud-based solutions to support the migration of existing systems and applications
• Integrate cloud-based solutions with other teams' products and services, ensuring seamless interoperability and collaboration 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition to the cloud 
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure comprehensive testing 
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members throughout the migration process 
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the cloud migration 
• Ongoing support and monitoring to ensure application performance and security

What we're looking for

• A recognized degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in IT application development, with hands-on experience in user requirement collection and analysis, system design and SDLC
• Technical experience and knowledge in web solution architectural design and development, and web application programming
• Proficiency in the following: Java, React, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON 
• Java EE, RESTful API, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, JTA 
• Web application programming skills with responsive design 
• Oracle 19c or above with PL/SQL 
• Cloud application development Experience and knowledge in the following would be an advantage: 
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) 
    • Redhat OpenShift 
      • PostgreSQL
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)
• Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills
• Good team player with self-initiative, open-minded and willing to learn
