Our client, a leading investment bank is seeking a dynamic and experienced Equities IT Project Manager to join the project team. The successful candidate will lead and manage IT projects within the Equities division, ensuring the delivery of technology solutions that meet the business needs and regulatory requirements. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and managed multiple IT projects within the Equities division, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure project deliverables meet their needs.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with the bank's technology standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation and key project artifacts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in IT project management within the financial services industry, preferably in equities.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with distributed teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
