You will be expected to:

• Explore business opportunities through global/international brokers and reinsurance cedants
• Work closely with the assigned broker source across all lines of business, particularly in the Casualty line
• Support the team in achieving financial targets by recognizing business opportunities and diligently following up on quoted business
• Select new business and evaluate renewal accounts in accordance with the company's underwriting philosophy, established authority parameters, as well as procedures and guidelines
• Review existing products to provide support and assistance in enhancing product variety to meet clients' needs
• Assist the department head in managing daily reinsurance inward and outward transactions
• Assist in ad hoc projects

The right fit person will have/be:

• Passed IIQE Paper 1 & 2; or holder of ANZIIF (Senior Associate)
• Degree holder in related discipline
• Min. 5 years’ relevant experience in handling global/international brokers
• Good knowledge of Casualty line of business
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Demonstrate a professional, courteous attitude with brokers and reinsurance partners
• A good team player with strong communication and analytical skills
