Overview:

Our client, a European bank, is seeking a Head of Loan Capital Market division to oversee the Southeast Asia region.

Your New Role:

• To promote and market origination business for syndicated loan opportunities to secure financing mandates for loan capital markets in Southeast Asia
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the Loan Capital Markets division in Southeast Asia, aligning with the bank's overall objectives.
• Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of loan transactions, including syndicated loans, project finance, and acquisition finance.
• Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Work closely with other departments, including risk management, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in loan capital markets, with a strong track record in Southeast Asia.
• Ability to negotiate with and influence various parties on conflicting issues and to achieve consensus
• Good interpersonal, presentation, marketing and communication skills
• Excellent leadership and team management experience in Greater China origination teams
• Fluent in spoken & written English, Cantonese & Mandarin
