This role can be based in either Hong Kong or Singapore
ROLE OBJECTIVE
Provide partnership strategy and business development support and portfolio management for Chubb Life’s Partnership Channels, directly reporting into the Head of Partnership.
Partnership channels and regions covered by this role: Bancassurance, Consumer Partnerships, DMTM, Broker / IGA and Digital across Chubb Life’s APAC and Latin American markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnership strategy and business development support:
Support formulation of Chubb Life’s strategic ambition in Partnerships, linking longer term strategy with short term execution priorities to deliver results
Support local markets in identifying key strategic and execution priorities to drive business growth and profitability, including clear KPIs and management reporting
Lead independent analysis for Executive Leadership and Country Presidents, covering industry trends, competitive landscape and opportunity identification
Business development research and support, including identifying prospects, pipeline tracking and competitive insights – in close collaboration with Country business development teams
Ad hoc project support for Head of Partnership on various Partnership projects
Support the management of all life markets including tracking of market performance, establishing plans and tracking of performance towards target, consolidating and managing partner and account pipelines
Support the coordination of local partnership teams and work closely with them to manage pipeline, growth and related risks, issues and remediation actions
Portfolio Management:
Streamline and automate performance and pipeline dashboards for recurring senior management presentations (Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews)
Regularly monitor each country’s Pipeline to ensure quality and timeliness of information provided (e.g., new deals added and realistic / up to date perspectives on revenue potential)
Responsible for tracking, risk management, project management and tracking of actions of the partnership portfolio
Monitor the onboarding processes of key partners in the region and local markets and create tracking and management presentations of the progress
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services either with corporate or management consultancy. Insurance industry experience is preferred.
BSc/BA in business administration, finance, actuarial or relevant field. Technical finance or actuarial background is preferred.
Familiarity with life insurance landscape of key markets in Asia Pacific is preferred
Global / International experience preferred

Ability to think strategically and have a strong inclination to close partnership deals
Self-starter, capable of setting own agenda, and working with moderate direction
Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to prioritize effectively
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
