IT Support and Management
Trading Desk Support
Cross-Regional Support
• Portfolio Managers in Singapore: Serve as a point of contact for portfolio managers in Singapore, assisting / co-ordinating with application support and resolving any technical issues they encounter.
IT Vendor Management
• Vendor Oversight: Assist with the management of IT vendors for the Hong Kong office, focusing on cost management and contract renewals to ensure value for services rendered.
IT Security Responsibilities
• ISO Recertification: Participate in security initiatives like ISO recertification, CSIRT, etc ensuring compliance
• Temporary User Access: Manage access for temporary users from other regions visiting the Hong Kong office, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Availability and Commitment
• Weekend and Holiday Support: Demonstrate commitment by providing support during weekends whenever there are system changes or updates. Additionally, be available on public holidays to ensure continuous support for the trading desk.
Skills and Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, including network infrastructure, desktop environments, and security protocols.
• Proficient in supporting trading applications and understanding trading workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented approach.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders across different regions.
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations is preferred.
