Job Description
To lead, manage and supervise the dispute resolution department in the administration of an accessible, efficient and transparent scheme whereby independent and impartial mediators and arbitrators provide mediation and arbitration services to financial institutions and their customers in the Hong Kong SAR (the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme).
To prepare agendas and papers, and provide secretarial support, for board and committee meetings.
To explain the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme at external meetings, events, and training.
To assist in the complaint handling procedure against listed mediators and arbitrators.
To undertake any other duties as instructed by the CEO.
Experience and Qualifications:
University degree in law and/ or alternative dispute resolution.
Professional experience in management, mediation and/or arbitration.
A proactive, responsible, problem-solving, and honest work ethic.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, management, organisational, presentation and writing skills.
Proficiency in Cantonese, Putonghua and English.
