A Well-Established Corporate Bank is looking for a Team Lead to join their Trade Finance Services & Operations Team.
The ideal candidate will supervise the daily activities of the Import Trade Finance Operations Team & ensure the team in compliance with banking policy and procedure.

Your new role

• Supervise a Team of 10 Headcounts
• Perform and investigate daily Trade Operations activities including Import LC issuance/amendment, bill booking and payment, document checking, Bank Guarantees, Trust Receipts ; Support Export LC related products (Advising, Confirmation, Discounting, Collection, etc.) if needed
• Perform the duty of checking and approval of all trade transactions
• Process Trade Finance transactions in accordance with International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules and the Bank's policies and procedures
• Deal with internal / external parties for matters related to trade transactions
• Conduct visits to customers with Relationship Managers to explain products and solutions of trade services as necessary
• Develop team members through work assignments, coaching and training

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree related field
• At least 15 years of experience in open account trade finance operations
• Strong leadership skills with at least 8 years experience in managing teams
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Familiar with International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules and the Bank's policies and procedures
• Good at organisation and time management to meet the service requirements
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
