The Senior Sales Manager role is responsible for leading and managing the sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving media revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with successful sales track record, strong media industry connections in Hong Kong and a deep understanding of the retail media landscape.

The challenge is to:
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key advertisers and partners including the leading media agencies in Hong Kong and major CPG brands
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve media sales targets using creativity and media expertise
- Sales Targets: Deliver against established revenue sales targets, maintain and manage the overall sales pipeline for DFI Media
- Industry Connections: Establish and maintain relationship with all leading media agencies in Hong Kong (OMD, PHD, GroupM, Publicis, Dentsu, Havas etc)
- Team management: lead a team of sales managers in Hong Kong, mentor the team members, set individual targets and improve individual team contribution
- Market Analysis: Identify and prioritize sales opportunities, target markets, and customer segments based on market analysis, competitive landscape, and business objectives
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and fostering long-term partnerships
- Pricing and Sales Incentives: Develop pricing strategies, discount structures, and sales incentives to maximize profitability and competitiveness while meeting customer expectations
- Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and innovation
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to help them achieve individual and team performance targets
- Competitor Monitoring: Monitor and assess competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments to adjust sales strategies, tactics, and positioning accordingly
- Marketing & PR: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness, generate leads, and build professional networks
Do you have experience in Digital Marketing and related field?
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is preferred
- 8-10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in Hong Kong
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role with a strong sales track record, ideally in digital marketing, media, e-commerce or SaaS solutions
- Experience in the retail media industry is highly preferred
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
- Demonstrated track record of success in achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and leading high-performance sales teams
- Strong understanding of the retail media landscape and market dynamics in Hong Kong including expertise in optimizing media plans and serving as media consultant to our client
- Knowledge in digital marketing across channels including performance marketing (Meta, Google, Programmatic), CRM (Salesforce, Braze, Insider, GAM) and affiliate marketing
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Hands on experience with proposal creation and pitch presentations
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions
- Proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM systems
- Experience in managing and mentoring sales teams to achieve high performance
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- High level of integrity and ethical standards
- Fluent in English and Cantonese is mandatory
