Corporate Communications Manager-Hong Kong Transport Services (Ref: 240001AQ)

Responsibilities

• Assist the team to formulate, plan and execute communication strategies and associated publicity to engage diverse target audience and stakeholders for Hong Kong Transport Services Business Unit
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align communication messages and materials to ensure effective, on-programme and quality delivery
• Utilize various communication channels including social media to promote initiatives for Hong Kong Transport Services Business Unit
• Handle media enquiries, issue and crisis management
• Establish media network, and maintain close communication and engagement with key stakeholders
• Take up on-call duties or work outside office hours as and when required, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Degree in Communications / Public Relations / Journalism or a related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at managerial or supervisory level
• Profound knowledge of media and stakeholder communications with good understanding of the political landscape of Hong Kong
• A creative and analytical thinker as well as a dedicated leader and team player with strong communication, organising and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure with strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
