Aurex Group has been mandated to identify and attract a General Manager to lead a prestigious mixed-use real estate asset in the heart of Hong Kong. This is a unique opportunity to take the helm of a dynamic property comprising residential, short-stay/hotel, retail, dining, and social infrastructure, and drive its transformation into a world-class destination.

As the General Manager, you will be the ultimate leader responsible for the financial performance, asset excellence, and tenant experience across the entire property. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the long-term strategy, elevating operational standards, and inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a long-term vision and strategy for the asset, ensuring sustainable growth, enhanced profitability, and alignment with the owner’s objectives.
• Financial Performance : Oversee the asset’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and identifying opportunities to maximize revenue and optimize costs.
• Tenant and Guest Experience : Elevate the experience for residents, guests, tenants, and visitors by setting and maintaining the highest standards of service and operational excellence.
• Team Leadership : Motivate, inspire, and empower a diverse team of department heads and staff across all functions. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
• Transformation and Innovation : Drive a mindset shift within the existing team, challenging the status quo and implementing best practices to raise the bar across all aspects of the asset.
• Stakeholder Management : Build strong relationships with the owner (a large, diverse property conglomerate in Hong Kong) and other key stakeholders. Command respect and influence decision-making at the highest levels.
• Asset Excellence : Ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards, with a focus on sustainability, efficiency, and cutting-edge design.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar senior leadership role within a mixed-use real estate asset or a comparable environment (e.g., luxury hospitality, large-scale retail, or integrated developments).
• A strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing long-term plans that deliver measurable results.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and empower teams to achieve excellence.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets and P&Ls.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to command a room and influence senior stakeholders.
• A forward-thinking mindset, with a passion for innovation, transformation, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in driving cultural change and elevating service standards within an organization.
• Executive presence, professionalism, and the ability to navigate a complex, fast-paced environment.
