Established in 1987, Yokoda Company Ltd is a leading wholesaler of the latest technology and innovative consumer products. Our company is expanding the business into food products with a focus on groceries with a long shelf life.
We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive who is experienced in handling and developing the food business to act as a profit center for our company. Based on experience, we are open to working on a profit-sharing basis.
Responsibilities:
1. Must have existing networking with various sales channels such as supermarkets, retail outlets, restaurants, hotels and corporates.
2. Perform market research to understand sales trends and the potential of products.
3. Identify strong suppliers and manufacturers.
4. Build and maintain potential clients and sale channels.
5. Negotiate pricing, payment, and shipping terms with vendors and clients.
6. Responsible for daily sales operations to achieve company sales targets.
7. Handle full operation independently: identifying products, sourcing from suppliers, sales to clients, delivery and payments.
8. Regularly update management on purchases, sales, negotiations and all other operations.
9. Explore new business opportunities by participating in exhibitions, client visits, and cold calls and continue to expand our product range.
Requirements:
1. Diploma/Degree holder in business or related disciplines.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the food industry (nuts, groceries, items with long shelf life).
3. Knowledge in e-commerce is a plus.
4. Excellent spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
5. Strong organization, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
6. Self-motivated, Positive work attitude and Creative thinking.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and Chinese Word Processing.
