Project Manager/Project Engineer

General Description:

Convergint is looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven, and customer service-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. A Project Engineer is responsible for security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming according to Convergint’s standards to ensure excellent project quality and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming according to Convergint’s standards
• Participate in project management
• Assist and provide technical support to sales and other departments
• Carry out system troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Conduct on-site client training
• Develop in-depth system design and drawings using AutoCAD
• Maintain a high level of knowledge in security systems

Qualification:

• Diploma/Certificate or Degree holder in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer or related Engineering disciplines
• Minimum 3 years or above related working experience in security, cabling, Audio-visual systems, electronic or small electronic project implementation and commissioning, familiar with ELV related products.
• Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network and database
• Familiar with security access control system, CCTV and alarm system products and systems is an advantage
• Wiling to work on-site
• Candidates have project management experience is an advantage
• Experience with Lenel, Gallagher and S2 systems is a clear advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Client service oriented
• Quick learner
• With valid Security Personnel Permit (Cat D) is preferred
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior position
