To perform a literature survey of the electronic design and control algorithm of existing Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) and gimbal camera technology
To conduct research on new control algorithms and calibration systems of 5 Degrees-Of-Freedom (DOF) Pico Gimbal Stabilizers (PGS) that outperform the existing OIS, gimbal and MGS cameras in terms of size and anti-shaking performance
To examine electronic designs and structure for new generations of Flexible Printed Circuits (FPC) for PGS with multiple DOF and compact sizes
To investigate the feasibility and conduct Proof-Of-Concept (POC) tests for the abovementioned research topicsTo conduct numerical studies to verify the effectiveness of the developed technology in the abovementioned research topics
To write patents for the research results
To understand and support our international clients and OEM factories regarding the needs of PGS with technology exchange
To travel occasionally to Shenzhen and overseas for gimbal technology advancement studies
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechatronic / Computer Engineering
At least 3-5 year of experience as an engineer or a researcher for electronic research
Proficient in MCU Programing and C / C# / C++ language
Great understanding in control system design, circuit design, FPC layout, analogue and digital filtering
Good communication skills in Chinese and English
Can-do and proactive attitudes
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Hong Kong
Master or Doctoral Degrees in Mechatronic / Electrical / Computer Engineering
Experience in conducting research with companies or universities in mainland and overseas
