Responsibilities:

  • Directly report to the Executive Director of the Southern District Health Centre (S DHC), and assist the Executive Director to manage all financial matters of S DHC
  • Report and communicate the financial issues of S DHC to Senior Finance Manager of the AKA in some special cases
  • Supervise the Accounting Team on daily accounting operations
  • Prepare the monthly financial reports to the relevant government bodies on time
  • Perform the internal financial control and accounting transactions and ensure they are aligning with the AKA financial standard
  • Review all accounting transactions, such as final checking, to ensure the integrity of accounting records which is in compliance with internal policies and procedures of AKA, government funding guidelines, statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare budgeting and cash flow forecast and monitor the cash flow
  • Prepare financial analysis and other management accounts for management review
  • Establish additional financial guideline in accordance with the relevant government body
  • Provide training on the financial control for the staff
  • Coordinate and liaise with auditor(s) and regulatory bodies in performing project audit and other regulatory compliances
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks when required

Requirement:

  • Degree in accounting with accounting qualification, registered in the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants Qualification Programme or equivalent
  • A minimum of 10 years of substantial experience in management accounting and/or financial analysis within a medium to large-sized organization is required, with at least 1 year of relevant experience in DHCs preferable
  • Self-motivated, good inter-personal skills and strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient in accounting system and software including MYOB, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
