My client, a reputable global financial institution, is actively seeking a hands on DevOps Engineer to join their team. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, traders, and system administrators, to deliver robust and scalable solutions. They are looking for a candidate with a strong background in DevOps practices, automation and a passion for optimizing and streamlining the software development lifecycle.

The role:

• Design, implement, and maintain their trading infrastructure, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with software development teams to establish and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes.
• Enhance system monitoring and alerting capabilities to ensure high availability and performance of trading systems.
• Identify and implement security measures to protect trading systems and sensitive data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal impact on trading operations.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, establish best practices, and improve the software development lifecycle.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity.

What you offer:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Proficiency in languages such as Python or Go
• Experience with IaC and tools such as Pulumi or Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWSFamiliarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of system monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Demonstrated experience with automating deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
• Knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
