We are currently looking for a  Marketing & Events Executive who will work closely with our Development Manager. The candidate will take the lead in promoting our mission, as well as planning, implementing and promoting our key programmes and events around creating awareness around food resilience and providing access to fresh healthy organic veggies to our beneficiaries.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop event concepts and themes, and implement the events, workshop sessions as planned.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event operations, including with our farmer teams to prepare our urban farms  for the events.
• Manage event budgets, including cost estimation, negotiation, and tracking expenses.
• Create and distribute content such as marketing materials, collateral, social media and website updates to promote Rooftop Republic and our associated NGO: Farm the City, and the respective events. 
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, transportation, accommodation, and catering.
• Oversee event registration and attendee management, including ticketing and guest lists.
• Collaborate with marketing and PR teams as appropriate to promote events through various channels.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement and manage communications, promotions to amplify the reach of the program, events  and impact - via our website, social media and other channels.

We are seeking a candidate who has the following skills and experience:

• Fresh graduates from all disciplines are welcome to apply.
• Majors in Marketing, Business, Social Sciences or Environmental Management disciplines preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a SE / NGO / education sector / project management / environmental and sustainability sector in Hong Kong will be advantageous.
• Passionate about creating environmental and social impact, and embracing the opportunity for entrepreneurship and creativity as part of designing innovative solutions for our beneficiaries.
• B2B project management, sales, account servicing experience is preferred.
• Solutions-oriented, and ability to work towards key targets, deliverables and deadlines.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese) is a must.
• Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, Airtable is required.
• You may be required to work on weekends where necessary (off-days to be given in-lieu).
• Candidates must have the right to work in Hong Kong. We cannot provide a visa.
