We are looking for a Spa Trainer based at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As a Spa Trainer, we rely on you to:

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for a wide range of spa services, including therapeutic, holistic, and beauty treatments, massages, facials, and body treatments in line with the protocols and standards
• Conduct hands-on training sessions for new hires in related to product knowledge, protocols and treatment practices as well as ongoing training for existing spa staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Evaluate the performance of trainees and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills
• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the spa industry and incorporate them into the training modules
• Assist in the development and updating of training materials and manuals to ensure they align with current industry standards
• Maintain an exceptional customer experience at every touch point of the customer journey
• Responsible for meeting retail and service individual targets and KPI’s (key performance indicators)
• Ensure workstations are clean, presentable and well stocked with the necessary products and tools/equipment required to carry out the full range of treatments and necessary tasks
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisors

We are looking for someone who has:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the spa industry, with hands-on experience in various spa treatments; preferably in hospitality background
• Previous experience in a training or mentoring role is highly preferred
• With CIDESCO / CIBTAC / ITEC / WSQ qualifications and other recognized certificates will be an advantage
• Strong understanding of spa operations and customer service excellence
• Strong leadership and communications skills with proven record in managing the team to drive revenue and achieve target performance
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
• Proficient in developing training programs and materials; familiar with MS Office applications
• Excellent command of English, Chinese would be a plus
