Duties

The appointee will be required to:

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (“UAT”) by documenting and reporting any identified issues or bugs during the testing process;
  • Assist in the preparation of data conversion templates, perform data cleansing, and verify the accuracy and completeness of migrated data;
  • Support the input and maintenance of accurate data within the ERP system, and generate reports to assist the Finance team with data verification;
  • Handle accounts payable invoices, vendor payments, payroll, petty cash, and disbursements for staff and students, ensuring compliance with the College’s regulations and procedures;
  • Support month-end closing processes, including the preparation of prepayment and accrual schedules;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

Applicants should:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable, preferably within the tertiary education sector or public organisations;
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask, work independently, and perform effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
  • Exhibit strong organisational skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, a positive work attitude, and a collaborative spirit;
  • Have good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
  • Be proficient in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Established by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (“TWGHs”) in 2010, Tung Wah College (TWC) is a self-financing degree-granting institution registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap.320). Following the educational ideals of TWGHs and leveraging on its renowned strengths and expertise, TWC aims to provide high quality tertiary education to nurture competent, socially responsible and caring professionals for the benefits of society.

With the staunch support of TWGHs, TWC has been developing rapidly and built up a niche in healthcare education.
