What We Need

• Grant Research & Application: Research and identify potential grants and funding opportunities; assist with grant writing and submissions
• Partnerships & Collaboration: Explore and establish partnerships with other organizations to expand the foundation’s impact and resources
• Fundraising Support: Assist in developing fundraising strategies and donor outreach efforts
• Event Planning: Support the planning and execution of charity events, workshops, and community programs
• Community Engagement: Help coordinate volunteer activities and engage with beneficiaries and stakeholders
• Social Media & Communications: Work closely with marketing interns to create content for social media platforms and other communications to promote initiatives and partnerships
• Interns may report to the office at any time during working hours, with flexible scheduling within the 20 hours per week requirement to accommodate their school schedule

The Extra Mile Charity Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged communities in Hong Kong. This internship provides an opportunity to engage in community outreach, grant research, and partnership development, helping to further our mission of social impact.

Why this is important

During your internship, you have the opportunity to initiate a fundraising project from scratch and/or apply for government grants. This will help expand our outreach, support more individuals in their learning, and encourage them to give back to the community.
