My client is hiring for a Project Manager to join their Quant Trading team. You will be responsible for managing the projects related to the trading business. You will communicate across different teams to make sure the projects and listings are done within schedule and in line with the strategic aims. A high-level of cross teamwork and engagement with stakeholders such as middle to senior management, Product owners and Finance in the region is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage all strategic projects related to trading, cross-departmentally, driving these projects from initiation stages to go-live, developing the entire roadmap for the trading desks.
• You will also have responsibility for coverage of listing operations.
• Conduct sprint planning meetings and manage backlog / tasks.
• Foresee and escalate potential roadblocks and work with relevant teams for timely resolution
• Cross team/department collaboration for other BAU / operational tasks

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science / Finance / Business / Quant related disciplines
• Over 6 years of working experience as Project or Product manager, from the Banking / Brokerage / FinTech industry
• In-depth understanding of financial products, trading lifecycle, as well as database and system architecture; a strong interest in trading and cryptocurrency will be beneficial.
• Solid Business Analysis, Requirement Gathering and Business Documentation Writing skills.
• Experience with Jira as a project documentation/collaboration tool
• Familiar with Agile / Scrum methodology
• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent English and Mandarin, written and spoken, with Cantonese a plus.
