Job Description

The Regency Spices team is looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Customer Service Assistant Manager. The CS Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining all the workflows and operations in the CS Department. The CS Assistant Manager ensures smooth customer order processing, responds to queries from various customer segments, and provides accurate product and service knowledge to handle special requests and confirm orders. The application code word is PEPPERCORN (didn’t include for this job). They communicate with production for order deadlines and special requests, maintain the customer database promptly, and train and supervise the Shipping Assistant. Daily delivery lists are communicated to drivers, all while striving for high accuracy to minimize errors, preventing day-to-day fires and enhance customer satisfaction.

This position is full-time. This is a critical position within the business, and as such, we host a rigorous application process.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 7AM to 4PM
  • Alternative Saturdays 7AM to 10AM
  • Phone duty (flexible time, 1 hour per working day in evenings)

Responsibilities

  • All orders and customer information are entered on time and accurately on the system
  • Customer information is proactively maintained whenever there are updates regarding preferences on items, payment, delivery and also issues.
  • Can create daily delivery summaries for drivers to follow
  • Proactively follows up on issues with deliveries or orders
  • Checks delivery completion and follows up with any discrepancies
  • Responds to enquiries from customers received across different platforms
  • Enquiries and requests which are beyond your scope are noticeably flagged for seniors to follow up.
  • Able to supervise and train shipping assistants and drivers to doing their job to a high standard.

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)

  • Quick to learn ins and outs of product and service offering, and how to maximize use of ERP system
  • Takes initiatives, proactive, problem-solver, self-starter. Doesn’t bring a problem without a solution.
  • Excellent & professional communicator, honest & unafraid of confrontation
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Highly adaptive: Effective time management & prioritization skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $26-32k monthly salary depending on experience
