HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Reporting to the Head of Regional Finance Digital Development (RFDD), APAC, the role will play a crucial position in enhancing the digital landscape and analytical practices for the APAC finance community. In alignment with the overarching strategy, the role will concentrate on implementing digital solutions independently while supporting the Head of RFDD, APAC in encouraging the effective use of newly developed digital solutions, facilitating the best practice sharing, and enhancing the digital capabilities of the finance community across the APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify development needs in BI and RPA within the finance functions aimed at reducing manual tasks, streamlining processes, and enhancing overall efficiency.
• Create BI dashboards utilizing Power BI and implement RPA solutions while managing existing inventories for the APAC finance teams.
• Implement the BI migration/transition to the Google Cloud Platform/Looker, the new platform designated by Group, upon its readiness for deployment.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of newly implemented solutions to ensure continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation that encompasses the technical design/structure and user manuals of the solutions and provide virtual and in-person training sessions.
• Drive effective collaboration with Group BI and Regional IT teams to ensure compliance with the overall strategy and integration of new technologies.
• Oversee the design, content, and library management of the APAC Finance Community Portal SharePoint in collaboration with department SMEs.
• Facilitate the regular sharing sessions of best practices in digital solutions and analytical practices across the markets.
• Support any ad-hoc development requirements and initiatives.
  
  

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

• 4-5 years of experience in business intelligence and digital solution deployment, preferably within finance, with substantial expertise in data modeling, Power BI, and automation/RPA through UiPath and Power Automate.
• Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Google Cloud Platform/Looker is highly beneficial.
• Strong technical capabilities in handling complex, high-volume data, and processes for reporting and consolidation.
• Experience in a matrix organization is preferred, with a background in the retail sector considered advantageous.
• Highly process-oriented, systematic in approach, excellent in communication.
• A strong spirit of constructive partnership and a collaborative mindset.
• Active listening, curiosity, and sharp business acumen.
• A university degree or higher from a reputable tertiary institution.
