Legal Counsel, Asset Management

Our client is a leading asset management firm, with an expanding presence across APAC. The business is a market-leading firm renowned for its exceptional track record in strategy and expertise.

We are looking for a Lawyer with strong experience in Investment Funds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for funds related legal matters and handling various legal documents related to asset management.

Key Roles & Responsibilities of Legal Counsel, Asset Management

• Assist the company in handling various legal documents related to asset management, including both equity investment and secondary market investment.
• Support new product exploration and manage knowledge across the firm’s activities
• Collaborate with regional teams and external counsels for seamless legal operations
• Conduct research on laws and policies related to asset management in Hong Kong and the wider region.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on new laws and regulations in connection with the Company's business activities
• Support the legal department of the company in other assigned tasks and projects.

Qualifications for Legal Counsel, Asset Management

• Commonwealth-qualified lawyer
• Open to candidates from law firm with relevant experience in investment funds
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required
• Candidates with international working experience would be preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
