Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to the testing team for the Signalling System
• Lead the Signalling System T&C activities
• Plan the site tests in accordance with train arrangement (4 weeks rolling programme)
• Review and adapt the Test Procedures to fit to the project needs
• Prepare the method statements for the site activities
• Participate, execute the site tests with Client
• Deploy system/hardware/software changes/versions
• Analyze / troubleshoot of issues and provide a first analysis
• Create hardware issue report
• Prepare / review the Test Reports
• Ensure the implementation of safety procedures on site
• Ensure the junior T&C Resources are prepared and have the necessary information to execute the tests, assist to hire, develop, train and motivate junior T&C resources
• Ensure the application of the internal process on the T&C activities
• Manage the measurement tools
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor degree (or greater) in Electrical, Computer, Systems Engineering or equivalent
• 7+ years’ experience in Rail Signalling System Development and/or Test and Verification environments (Signalling)
• Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
• Leadership and organizational skills
• Hands-on experience on Windows, Linux OS
• Good communication and interpersonal relations skill.
• Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing (Cantonese capability is added value but not mandatory)
• IRSE License would be at advantage
• Electrical license grade A or above would be at advantage
