On behalf of an international commercial bank, with a global presence, we are seeking an experienced commercial banking relationship manager. You will bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in trade finance and a demonstrable track record of revenue generation. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a more senior role.
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of corporate banking clients with a focus on SME and/or large corporate accounts.
Actively develop new business opportunities, marketing and selling of corporate banking services to potential clients. These can be local and/or regional.
Oversee credit application processes, conduct regular credit reviews, and take ensure credit quality according to internal policies and procedures.
Manage client on-boarding processes in alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements.
Regularly monitor the quality of loan book and ensure that control measures are in place to minimise risk exposure.
Requirements:
5 – 20+ years’ sales and marketing experience in commercial banking and trade finance.
Demonstrable history of business development, client management and revenue generation.
Excellent English language communication skills. Other regional languages are useful but not essential.
Professional qualification of Certified Banker / AAMLP / ACRP is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree, or above, in business, finance or related discipline(s).
