Oversee the day-to day management and operation of a home cum day care centre for the elderly
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall management of a home cum day care centre for the elderly including staff supervision, manpower planning and deployment;
oversee the service delivery, monitor service output and steer the service direction of the home;
provide professional support in case management;
exercise budgetary control;
liaise with strategic partners for service promotion and development; and
compile statistical reports for submission to the senior management.
Service Nature: Elderly Service
Entry Requirement:
Attained English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language at Grade E or above in the H.K.C.E.E.;
a recognized degree in Social Work or equivalent;
registered under the Social Workers Registration Ordinance (Cap. 505) as Registered Social Worker;
at least 5 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in elderly services; including 3 years of full-time work experience in management of health care institution; and
proficiency in English and Chinese.
Compensation and Employment Terms:
The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $59,110 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 26). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience.
The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review.
Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
